PBS Films Documentary at Ellis Memorial
In a few months, award-winning filmmakers in Boston will begin production on American Birthright, a new PBS documentary that looks at the crucial role of early childhood development in shaping the psychological and physical health of future adults and our nation.
The film asks: as a society, why are we not doing all we can to improve the young lives of our nation’s children-and support in every way the parents and caregivers they depend on?
The filmmakers have selected Ellis Memorial as the agency and location to locate their film. They are now interviewing Ellis parents who will be interested in sharing stories about their lives, and what kind of work it is to give their children the love and support they need, and the kinds of stresses and challenges they face.
