Overview
Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House operates under the highest standards. We do not provide any goods or services in consideration of contributions, nor do we exchange or sell our lists of donors.

Gifts and Bequests
Please consider the following giving alternatives when thinking of support for Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House.

Matching Gifts
Often the company you work for will match in full or part your gift to a charitable organization like ours. Contact your company’s Charitable Giving or Human Resource Department. You may find that you can increase the amount of your support to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House.

United Way
You can make a gift to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House through the United Way. If your employer participates in the United Way Campaign, you can specify that your contribution be directed to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House by entering the number 368388 in section 4 under Single Agency in the United Way payroll deduction form.

Life Insurance
You can make a gift of life insurance to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House and claim the premium payments as a tax deduction. You may also make a gift of an existing policy and claim a deduction for the cash surrender value.

Gifts of Securities
You may make a gift of appreciated securities and deduct them at full market value on the date of the transfer to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House.

Tax Information
Gifts to Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House are tax deductible within the limits of current federal and Massachusetts State law. Tax laws require a receipt for individual payments of $250 or more to charity. If you have made any single payment(s) above $250 for a particular tax year Ellis Memorial & Eldredge House will send you a receipt before April 15th.
